Hayley & Ryan | Sulgrave Manor

October 2016 Back in October 2016, Hayley & Ryan got married at Sulgrave Manor and it was such a beautiful autumn wedding! Hayley got ready with her bridesmaids and mum at Daventry Court Hotel. Hayley’s beautiful flowers were done by one of her bridesmaids and they looked amazing - a gorgeous mix of pastel pinks and peachy blooms to match their colour theme. Once the bridesmaids were ready they hoped onto the coach with some other guests to take them to Sulgrave. I stayed with Hayley to capture her dad seeing her for the first time – it was emotional! I’m so glad I was able to document that special moment. We all arrived at Sulgrave Manor, ancestral home to George Washington, a Tudor manor near Banbury; it has lots of history, character and gorgeous grounds. The ceremony was beautiful and they had personalised wedding vows. Ryan’s reaction to Hayley as she walked down the aisle was so sweet! Once the I do’s where done and the register was signed, the new Mr & Mrs walked through a colourful confetti tunnel. We took group photos before going off to explore the grounds of Sulgrave Manor for couple photos. Autumn is one of my favourite times of year to shoot, I really love the autumnal colours and carpet of leaves on the floor- the perfect back drop for couple photos. Hayley & Ryan are one the cutest couples ever and without much direction at all they got into perfect poses so quickly! They smashed it when it came to couple photos. The reception room looked stunning! It was clear to see how much time they had spent getting everything perfect. Each table was named after a football player and the centrepieces were a mix of candles and fairy lights. The placenames were painted leaves with a gold pretty handwritten names on. After Hayley, Ryan and the guests had eaten, it was time for speeches. They were absolutely brilliant, the perfect mix of emotional moments and lots of laughter. I laughed until my tummy hurt and cried at some of the beautiful things that were said. (I often cry at wedding speeches!) Once the evening guests had arrived, they cut their tasty looking cake and then took to dance floor for their first dance. Hayley then had a dance with her dad and it was another super cute moment. I was really pleased to be able to get some creative night time shoots with the couple too before leaving them to enjoy the rest of their evening! I had such a great time getting to know this lovely couple and photographing their day.
