wedding Amy has been so kind and helpful and has done an

incredible job of making sure our photos were fantastic."

Hayley & Ryan

Where are you based and how far will you travel?
I am based in Rugby. I cover venues in Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire Birmingham and West Midlands. However, I am happy to travel around the UK. If the location is more than 50 miles from my home in Rugby, a small travel fee will apply. If the location is more than a 2 hour drive from my home in Rugby I may also need a nights accommodation. Contact me to find out what travel cost may apply.

What is your photographic style?
I describe my style as natural, creative and relaxed. I work in an unobtrusive manner in order to capture the story of your day as it happens. My aim is to ensure that everyone feels relaxed & at ease in front of the camera. I'm a lover of soft & natural light and use it as much as possible.

Do you take formal group shots?
Yes, I do, although my style is more reportage, I am still happy to take a few group shots as I know these are important photos from the day! These can be traditional & formal or fun & relaxed - the choice is yours!

How long will you spend at our wedding?
This will really depend on the timings for your day. With an all day coverage package, I arrive about two hours before the ceremony to capture the preparations and stay right through to the first dance and a little bit of the evening party to get some photographic evidence of those epic funky dance moves!

How many photographs will you take?
I do not limit the number of photographs I take during your day; I take as many as possible to capture every detail. I then edit through the photos and pick out the best ones to include in your final gallery. You will get 400+ photos with all day coverage.

How long will we have to wait to see our wedding photos?
I will show you some ‘sneak peeks’ a few days after the wedding to keep you going until the final gallery is ready. I professionally process and edit through the photographs and your images will be ready for viewing within 8 weeks of your wedding day. (During the quieter wedding season this often sooner!) Images will be placed on an online gallery for you to view first and I will then send your USB stick to you.

Do you edit your photos?
After the day I will go through the photos and pick the best ones that I know you’ll love and edit them. By edit I mean basic colour correction, cropping and tweaking the exposure. 'You can Photoshop that out, right? Can you get rid of my wrinkles etc.?' No, because I believe people look great as they are and so I don’t do any airbrushing or ‘photoshopping’ so to speak.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I am fully insured for both professional indemnity and public liability. I also have back-up cameras and lenses that I bring with me on the wedding day, plus lots of memory cards and spare batteries and I take extra care to back-up your wedding photographs. I am also a registered member of the Guild of Photographers.

Do you do engagement/pre-wedding shoots?

Yes, I do. I love doing these shoots and highly recommend booking one. There are lots of benefits of doing one - read more about them here.

Can we meet you before we book?
Yes, of course, and I highly recommend it! I offer all couples that enquire a free video call consultation via Zoom or something similar. We can use this as a chance to meet each other, chat about all your wedding plans, discuss your requirements. Plus I will show you some sample albums and talk you through my packages.
It is so important that you get on with your wedding photographer! I want you to feel like an old friend has turned up on your wedding day, not just a stranger with a camera.

How early should we book?
It is never too early to book! I only cover one wedding per day, so I always advise that you book and secure your date as early as possible to avoid disappointment. I'm currently taking bookings for 2022, 2023 and 2024 - popular dates go fast so it really is never too early to book!
Most couples book in early, however, I do also have some couples that book just a few months before - this is risky but sometimes I do have late availability dates available so don't be afraid to ask if I'm free!

How do we book you and is there a booking fee?
If you would like me to photograph your wedding and have checked that I am available, I will send you a booking pack email with a booking form and online contract to sign.

I also request a £200 booking fee (the remaining balance is then due 14 days before the wedding). Once the contract is signed and the booking fee is paid the date is yours!
