About Amy
Autumn is my favourite season! I love the autumnal colours and cosy vibes. It's the perfect excuse to wear a comfy jumper and snuggle up on the sofa with a blanket and a hot chocolate while watching Gilmore Girls.
From Bridget Jones to The Notebook, romcoms are my guilty pleasure. It's not Christmas without watching The Holiday or Love Actually. The scene where Colin Firth's character learns Portuguese to propose gets me every time. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic really and an absolute sucker for a cute love story! I adore hearing engagement stories and about how couples met.
Hi, I'm Amy (she/her), a wedding and family photographer based in Rugby, Warwickshire. I photograph weddings in The Midlands and across the UK.

It's all about family time with my husband and our two young children when I'm not working. We love going on exciting family adventures, from camping to exploring the beautiful woodland near our home, especially when the bluebells are out! One of my favourite annual family traditions is pumpkin picking.
You'll often find me wearing floral dresses or anything with polka dots - they definitely dominate my wardrobe! I'm a tea drinker and believe tea tastes even better from my favourite mug (you guessed it, it's spotty and floral!) While cooking isn't really my forte, I like to think I'm not too bad at baking. I make a rather tasty chocolate fudge cake - even though it's probably not going to win me the title of star baker on Bake Off!

Crafting is another huge passion of mine. As a 'DIY bride' in 2016, I crafted nearly everything for our wedding, from invitations to bunting and even did all the flowers. That's why I love capturing all the unique wedding details because I truly appreciate the time and effort couples put into perfecting them. I have been to Glastonbury festival 5 times, and sometimes I think a festival-themed day would have been amazing if we were planning our wedding again! But no regrets, we had a wonderful wedding.
My journey into photography...
I was about 5 when my dad gave me my very first camera before a trip to London. It was a film camera, and I remember it came with an adorable sheep camera bag that I absolutely loved! A few years later, whenever I had the chance, I would eagerly use my dad's "fancy" film camera. When I was around eight years old, I remember taking up the role of a budding wedding photographer at my uncle's wedding, capturing candid shots of my family. Little did I know I would one day be a wedding photographer! I got my first digital camera for my 12th birthday and took it everywhere. I even did little photoshoots with my friends, although looking back, I have to admit that those photos make me cringe a little. But hey, it was all part of my photography journey!
I studied art and design at college, and it was there that my love for photography grew! I then went on to study at The University of Northampton and proudly graduated with a BA(Hons) in Photographic Practice.
My style and approach...
I've got the most incredible job ever - I get to capture love! Since 2014, I've been photographing weddings, and it's been amazing to document so many beautiful love stories. It's seriously such an honour to be a part of a couple's day.

I describe my style as natural, romantic and relaxed, with a storytelling approach. This means I unobtrusively document the day for you as it happens - from the excitement and anticipation during morning prep to the dancefloor shenanigans! I'm all about capturing real smiles, happy tears, big hugs, little details, fun, laughter, and love! You can find out more about my style and approach to wedding photography here.
