Just like my approach to photography, my highlight films tell the story of your day as it unfolds. Filmed seamlessly alongside your photography (you won't even know I'm swapping between the two), I capture little snippets of video throughout the day and edit them to licensed music, creating a short video of your wedding day’s best bits. Short and sweet, and full of all the feels that take you right back to your day.

How long is a highlight film?
This varies from wedding to wedding, but highlight films are typically 3-5 minutes.
What moments of the day will be captured on video?
Your highlight film is captured alongside your photos and will include many of the key moments and atmosphere from the day, but it won’t cover every single part. I'm a photographer offering 'hybrid' highlight films, which means photography takes priority on your wedding day. If you’re looking for full video coverage of the entire day, including the full ceremony and speeches, it’s best to book a dedicated wedding videographer.
Do you film the ceremony or speeches?
No, not in full. I take short snippets of both to include in your highlights film, but I don't offer full coverage of the ceremony or speeches. If this is something you would like, please book a dedicated wedding videographer. I’m happy to recommend some wonderful videographers I’ve worked with.

Do you record sound?
My highlight films are primarily visual storytelling, but I sometimes include ambient sounds captured by my camera.

What music will you use?
I buy a new license for each film, and I pick a song that matches the vibe of your day. I’m happy to consider your preferences and use a meaningful song where possible, but it's important to know that many popular songs or artists are impossible or very expensive to license.

Your film will be delivered digitally via your online gallery and shareable with friends and family.

Can we book you for a highlight film if we already have a different photographer?
Yes! I offer a standalone highlight film package for couples who already have their photographer booked. Please get in touch for more details.
