2023 round-up
Gosh, can you believe it's time for another end-of-year round-up blog post? Where did 2023 go? Naturally, as the year comes to an end I have been reflecting on the last 12 months and how much of a joy it has been to witness and capture more beautiful love stories!
To every couple who entrusted me with their day, thank you from the bottom of my heart. From intimate elopements to big celebrations, I have been to some exciting new venues like Longbourn Barn and some familiar favourites like Ashton Lodge and Swallows Nest. It's been another year of capturing tears of joy, rooms full of laughter, big bear hugs and those little fleeting moments.
2024 is already shaping up to be another wonderful year of love stories. I have some dates in my diary available for 2024, and 2025 bookings are already finding their place in the calendar. Believe me, it's never too early to secure your date! This year, I also had the privilege of joining forces with my bestie and fellow female business owner, Hannah Lodge, the force behind Wright Step Fitness. She is an incredible PT and dance teacher based in Rugby. In the summer we collaborated with an 'empowerment photoshoot,' gathering an incredible group of Wright-Steppers - women of all ages, shapes, and sizes that Hannah trains. The focus was on body positivity, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of incredible. It was honestly so amazing and heartwarming to photograph an amazing group of inspirational women! We are already working on making 2024's shoot even bigger and better. I can't wait.
I've also photographed some beautiful families and babies this year. I can't tell you how lovely it is for past couples to ask me to document the next milestones in their lives. I really want to offer more family shoots in 2024. I have big plans for some mini-shoot sessions including bluebells and lavender farm shoots. Watch this space!
