Hey! I'm Amy, a Warwickshire wedding photographer, photographing love stories in The Midlands and across the UK. I'm an autumn lover, tea drinker, crafter, floral dress wearer and hopeless romantic!

I describe my photography style as storytelling. I unobtrusively document your day for you as it happens and I'm all about capturing real smiles, happy tears, big hugs, little details, fun, laughter and love!

Catherine & Nick | Barnsdale Hall Hotel Wedding

Sunset wedding photos overlooking Rutland Water at Barnsdale Hall Hotel

Barnsdale Hall Hotel wedding photographer

Remember the summer of 2018 when the UK actually had sunshine? Cath & Nick's wedding was right in the middle of that gorgeous heatwave we had. They had their day at the wonderful Barnsdale Hall Hotel, a fantastic venue with stunning views of Rutland Water.

Cath got ready at the hotel with her two bridesmaids, with Leanne Brown there to do the girl's hair and makeup.

Cath and Nick had been constantly checking the weather in the run-up to their day, but they needn't have worried because the weather was perfect for their beautiful outdoor ceremony.

This wonderful weather also meant golden hour was incredible and you all know by now I love golden hour couple photos! I mean I think you could easily mistake their sunset photos to have been taken abroad or something! But no this was just the beautiful UK! Cath made and collected the wedding decor, with a Scrabble theme and pretty gyp in glass jars. Cath's auntie made their awesome Lego cake! I left them dancing the night away - documenting the most epic dad dancing and a super cute father-daughter dance just before leaving.

I loved working with Cath & Nick and really loved working at Barnsdale Hall Hotel. Here are some of my favourites from their day...
