Hey! I'm Amy, a Warwickshire wedding photographer, photographing love stories in The Midlands and across the UK. I'm an autumn lover, tea drinker, crafter, floral dress wearer and hopeless romantic!

I describe my photography style as storytelling. I unobtrusively document your day for you as it happens and I'm all about capturing real smiles, happy tears, big hugs, little details, fun, laughter and love!

Catherine & Chris | Longbourn Barn Wedding

Bride & groom at Longbourn Barn Wedding

Longbourn Barn Wedding

Catherine and Chris had a beautiful May wedding with rustic vibes and lots of DIY decor. The day began at Walton Hall, where Catherine and her bridesmaids got ready. The grand staircase at the hotel's entrance was the perfect spot for an epic dress shot. It was such a calm and relaxed atmosphere - the girls popped open the bubbles and took in the impressive views outside. The tears started flowing when Catherine's mum popped in and then again with the father of the bride's first look - it's always such a lovely moment to capture and witness. I still fondly remember this moment with my dad on my own wedding day.

Then it was off to Kenilworth! Catherine and Chris had their ceremony at St Nicolas Church, which is just a short drive to Kenilworth Castle. So after the ceremony, we took a short detour for photos with the castle ruins in the background.

Then, it was onto the final venue of the day, Longbourn Barn, a hidden gem nestled in the Warwickshire countryside. The rustic barns, with their stone walls and wooden beams, provided the perfect blank canvas for Catherine and Chris to showcase their creativity. They DIYed much of the decor, including hand-dying all the napkins, which added a personal and unique touch to the stunning setup. It all looked incredible! The Wild Oven served up delicious sharing boards that perfectly complemented the relaxed vibe of the day.

We were spoilt for choice with picturesque locations for couple portraits, but my personal favourite was the flower meadow. The weather definitely got the memo, with a stunning sunny day and the perfect golden hour. It was also great to meet and work alongside Steven & Stu from Haven Wedding Films.

After the first dance, the party really got started and the dancefloor came alive - I love a wild dancefloor! Driving home with a huge smile on my face, I couldn't help but feel grateful for such an amazing day at 'work' photographing this wonderful couple and their gorgeous wedding.
