Danielle & Sam | Hampton Manor Wedding

Bride and groom embrace while laughing at Hampton Manor wedding.

Hampton Manor wedding photographer

I am so pleased to have found some time to blog some about real weddings again! This blog post has been a long time coming! Last summer, I photographed Danielle & Sam’s wedding and what an incredible day it was! When I first met this couple and heard about their plans, I knew their day was going to be special and it certainly was.

The morning started at Hampton Manor Hotel, where Danni was getting ready with her mum and two bridesmaids. There were lots of details to photograph... Danni’s gorgeous dress looked amazing hung up in the hallway of the hotel and I absolutely loved the bouquets – such pretty colours. Not forgetting the Tiffany necklace, a gift from Sam with their wedding date on it! The girls all looked stunning, with the makeup done by Gemma Clarke Makeup Artistry MUA. After the bridesmaids and Danni’s mum got her all dressed up it was time for her dad to see her for the first time – this was such an emotional thing to document, with everyone in tears including myself... I love photographing this moment! It was then time to head to the church in the classic cars. They got married at Holy Trinity Church in Long Itchington, Sam’s family church. The ceremony got me tearing up again when Danni got emotional saying her vows. After the hymns, I do’s and rings, they were officially Mr & Mrs! We headed outside of the church for some of the family group photos before the couple had their confetti exit. Then back to Hampton Manor Hotel – this wedding was my first visit to this hotel and it was such a beautiful venue! The guests had drinks on the terrace, with live music by Richie Phillips Music (he even got the guests dancing and singing along) and they were also entertained by magician Jester Styles Magic! We took the rest of the group photos before getting some couple portraits around the beautiful grounds of Hampton Manor. This couple are super cute and absolutely rocked their couple portraits, making my job easy to be honest. The reception room was all set up ready for their wedding breakfast and it looked fantastic. The room was full of natural light which I absolutely love! The were lots of little details to photograph including their cake which looked so tasty, pretty blooms in glass jars, and photos of their parents on their wedding days. But it was the table names that were my favourite! Danni loves yoga, so it was only right to get a hint of yoga into their day with the table names as yoga poses and the illustrations of the couple doing them were brilliant. The speeches were fantastic and got everyone laughing, with some emotional bits too... Danni’s dad's speech really got me! We were so lucky after the meal, just when we headed out for some more couple photos it looked as though it was going to rain, but then we got the most gorgeous sun flare coming through the trees! The weather was very kind to them on Saturday. Danni had a quick outfit change into another gorgeous dress before the evening reception started, and all for a very good reason... the first dance! They’d had dance lessons and did an amazing first dance! The band iRock then started to play and got everyone singing and dancing. We snuck away for some extra last couple photos before leaving them to dance the night away with their guests! Plus a mention to Ben at BRS Wedding Videography too who was great to work with at this wedding!
