Sian & Jake | Warwick House Wedding

Warwick House wedding photographer

Sian and Jake got married a few days before Christmas at the gorgeous Warwick House in Southam - One of my favourite local Warwickshire wedding venues!

The morning started in the fabulous dressing room area at Warwick House. Sian and her girls had their hair done by LC Hair and make-up by Sufiah. Jake and the boys also got ready at the venue, so I was able to photograph their final preparations - mostly trying to work out how to do their tye‘s and buttonholes! After the boys had a quick beer, I went back to Sian and the girls to document their final preparations before the ceremony. Sian's stunning lace dress was from Wed2be and I absolutely loved the deep red colour theme. The beautiful flowers matching the colours perfectly were by Jacquline Florist. I was also working alongside videographer David Grange who the couple had booked to video the day.

The ceremony was beautiful and the way Jake looked at his bride throughout was just adorable! After the ceremony, we did group photos and a confetti tunnel. Sian and Jake braved the cold weather and we took couple portraits in the gorgeous gardens at Warwick House.

The reception room set-up looked amazing! It was just the right amount of festive without being too Christmasy! I loved the rustic touches of pine cones, tree logs and greenery with lots of pretty fairy lights. How tasty and incredible did the cake look? Made by two of the bridesmaids, Sian’s sister Kim and Jake's sister Cally. They had a great idea for the table plan. They printed funny and silly face photos of each guest. The reaction of the guests looking at all of the photos was too good not to capture!

By the time the meal and speeches had finished it was dark outside (one thing to keep in mind if you’re planning a winter wedding too!) so we took some more couple portraits in the honeymoon suite. The big bay window is perfect for photos, even a window silhouette shot which was the perfect photo to end on.
