October 2015 I can't believe its been over two years since I photographed Hannah & Paul's wedding. They got married back in October 2015 at Ansty Hall Hotel. Hannah is a baker at For Goodness Cake and has made many tasty cupcakes for me and my family in the past, including my very own wedding cakes! She is so creative with her baking and so when Hannah got in touch to talk about wedding photography for their day I just knew this wedding would be awesome and they really didn't disappoint. They wanted a laid back wedding and did their wedding, their way - I love it when couples do this! This blog is definitely long over due! The morning started in one of the hotel rooms at Ansty Hall, where Hannah was getting ready with her maid of honour, Michelle. The girls did their own hair and make up and looked gorgeous! Hannah's short dress was from Vivien of Holloway and I loved Hannah's shoes and the beautiful vintage pastel blooms were perfect! The ceremony was lovely, and Hannah's brother performed a couple of songs on the guitar - a sweet personal touch. After the ceremony, guests had drinks outside. What gorgeous weather they had too, perfect for dreamy photos in the gardens at Ansty Hall. We did group photos first and then I spend some time with just the couple for portraits. The autumn sunlight was just dreamy, plus this couple are just super cute anyway and made couple portraits a breeze. We got a few cheeky and funny photos of course too! The reception room was decorated beautifully, it had a rustic feel with touches of hessian and lace. The ladies had a chocolate lips lollypop favour and the gents a moustache one. With Hannah being a baker herself, choosing who to make their wedding cake must have been a tough choice, but she put it in the very capable hands of JJ's cakes. Loved this naked cake topped with the mr & mrs bunting. After the meal and speeches, we headed out for a few more couple portraits in the setting sun! As you know by now, I love a sunflare! The evening guests arrived and Hannah & Paul took to the dance floor for their first dance. With music from DJ Rob from Rugby Discos, they also had live music from local band White Men Can't Funk. I left them all dancing the night away. I absolutely loved photographing this wedding! Probably my favourite from 2015!
